Dorethane Agathina continues her journey. On May 9, she took the 5th place at the IFBB European Championship 2022 in the Women’s Physique category. She became the first Mauritian to participate in this competition.
Back home recently, Dorethane is on cloud nine. Of course, she was not on the podium in Spain, but the young woman does not hide her satisfaction: “I am now part of the French team of the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness – IFBB. It is precisely this training that allowed me to be part of the Spanish adventure. Participating in this competition was already a great victory for me. Now, imagine my joy to have made it to the top 6. I am more than satisfied with my 5th place especially since I am the first Mauritian to participate in a high level competition.
If for the moment the athlete is taking it easy, the weeks to come will be more intense: “For the moment the priority is to choose the competitions in which I will participate. There is a whole technical team around me to supervise me well. I am taking advantage of my return to my country to take a break. But I know that the weeks to come will be tough.
