Black Pot Ltd is a new Mauritian company that offers pots that are out of the ordinary. The start-up, which is located in the industrial zone of St Antoine, intends to diversify its products and services in the near future.
This is the story of three friends who are all passionate about plants. Not finding pots to their taste. They decided to create their own: “Everie – my brother, Hippolyte Martin – my friend and I started by making concrete pots. We posted them on social networks and very quickly we had very good feedback. This is what encouraged us to turn to fiberglass, which is a light material and offers more possibilities in terms of shape,” explains Yego Gontran, CEO.
The particularity of Black Pot is that with the company, the customer is really king: “We offer a custom service to meet the slightest requirements of our customers both in terms of size and color.
In addition, Black Pot also offers advice to help their customers choose their plants well: “Black Pot is not just selling pots, because we also advise our customers to choose their plants well and arrange their pots correctly.”
Seeing things in a big way after one year of existence, the company plans to diversify its products: “We plan to offer decorative objects. Add to that we are also working on setting up an after-sales service for our pots to support our customers after their purchase.”
