It was around noon this Thursday, February 24, that a request was made to the Rose-Hill Police Station regarding a work accident in Ebene. Police officers responded to the eight-story building under construction. When this team of police officers arrived, personnel from an Emergency Medical Service (EMS) ambulance were already there and were transporting the injured man from a pressurized deck on the ground to this ambulance. The young man, who was writhing in pain, had injuries to his right foot, arms, shoulder and neck.

A security guard, who worked at the location, was interviewed. He explained to the police that at around 11:00 a.m., while on the 6th floor, he was accosted by this young man, who wanted to know where he could use the bathroom. The security guard then asked him to go down to the ground floor. Immediately afterwards, the security guard said he heard a loud noise and that someone had fallen onto the pressurized deck.
