Simon Desvaux de Marigny and Sabrina Rabot were absent from the second round of the Vital 2022 cross-country league and came back to win the second round at Mon Choisy last Saturday.
Simon Desvaux de Marigny covered the 6 km course in 19’36. Abhishek Custnea who won the second leg finished second in 17’05. Aneeshrao Sudhoo won the bronze medal in 20’00.
In the girls’ race, the inusable Sabrina Rabot struck again. On the 5 km course, she set the pace in 22’07. Océanne Flores (22’25) and Ashley Telvave (23’15) took second and third place respectively.
Five runners achieved the pass of three in this third heat and are already positioned as favourites for the title of league champion. They are : Kelsy Leclerc (U12 girls), Nia Keeling (U16 girls), Victor Colard (U10 boys), and Jean-Luc Vilbrim (masters men).
The second round will take place on 27 August, starting at 9.30am in Gros Cailloux.
