The Vice-President of the Republic of Mauritius, Mr Eddy Boissezon, received, on 15 December 2022, the Visionary Award 2022 from the Chinatown Foundation, during the fourth edition of the Chinatown Gala Award Dinner 2022 held in Domaine les Pailles.
The Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Mauritius, Mr Zhu Liying, Lady Sarojini Jugnauth, and other personalities were present on this occasion.
Each year, the Chinatown Foundation rewards ten people for their help and support during the Gala Award Dinner and for year 2022, 11 people were rewarded for their dedication, contribution and involvement within the Chinatown Foundation.
The awardees were, among others: Vice-President Boissezon (Visionary Award 2022); Lady Sarojini Jugnauth (Gratitude Award); and Dr Ismaël Rawoo (Star Initiative Award 2022).
