UOM Courses To Be Held Online Until Further Notice

Must Read

The University of Mauritius will be holding its classes online from next week until further notice. This decision was taken because of the health crisis. However, this measure does not concern the “Tutorial Classes”, i.e. the practical courses.

The announcement was made this morning by the Pro Vice-Chancellor of the UOM, Sanjeev Kumar Sobhee, at the launch of the 13th edition of UOM’s Research Week. He explained that this decision was taken to limit the risks of spreading Covid-19.

The 13th edition of Research Week will therefore also be held online. The theme this year is: “Building Resilience through Research in the COVID-19 Era”. The aim is to better understand and adapt to Covid-19. Students and researchers from the UOM have been involved in a series of research projects on Covid-19 management for two years.
