It’s done! The Labour-MMM-PMSD alliance has obtained the green light of Municipality of Port-Louis to hold its 1ᵉʳ-May meeting in the capital. The administrative steps had been initiated by the opposition alliance at the end of last year with a view to celebrating Labour Day. Rajesh Bhagwan, general secretary of the MMM, confirmed he had received the approval through a correspondence from the town hall.
“Sanzman pe vini. This is the slogan chosen by the Alliance. We present ourselves as an alternative to the MSM government and to Pravind Jugnauth as Prime Minister,” said Rajesh Bhagwan.
He continued: “Following this authorization, work is stepping up. An organizing committee may be set up in the next few days.
