The 12 rastamen who were arrested for illegal assembly this morning appeared before the Port Louis court. The police did not object to their release on bail. The 12 members of Zenfan Zion and Kolektif Lavwa Rasta were released on bail of Rs 3,000 and a debt recognizance of Rs 20,000. However, they are not allowed to participate in any rally. Darren Activist questioned by police
Dominique Seedeeal, aka Darren Activist, was questioned by the police on Thursday. The reason is his presence in the vicinity of the Government House yesterday, where 12 Rastafarians were on hunger strike. According to the police, Darren Activist, who is on bail, is not allowed to participate in any rally.
