The Minister of Financial Services and Good Governance, Mr Mahen Kumar Seeruttun, and other personalities were present at the award ceremony.

In his address, Minister Seeruttun congratulated the winners and lauded the efforts and perseverance of all participants for competing for 24 hours non-stop. The Hackathon Competition, he highlighted, was designed to encourage innovation and creativity in the industry and brought together some of the brightest minds in the financial services industry, especially in the Fintech area.

The competition, he pointed out, offered a great opportunity to youngsters to showcase their skills and meet other professionals in the industry. He thus urged the youth to continue to innovate in technology and seize opportunities being offered to them so as to promote talent growth in the International Financial Centre.
