Must Read

The leader of the Labour party held a press conference this morning. The Prime Minister, according to Navin Ramgoolam, has sold the sovereignty of our country. “He is a traitor to the Mauritian nation,” he said. Therefore, according to Navin Ramgoolam, who was in front of the press at midday, said that Pravind Jugnauth does not have the right to stay one more day in office.

For him, the country is in danger. “It is an act of high treason,” insisted Navin Ramgoolam. For him, Pravind Jugnauth has three options. First, resignation. The second option is to return power to the people. The third, according to Navin Ramgoolam, is for the people of Mauritius to take responsibility. Navin Ramgoolam maintains that in this context, he has engaged in talks with all political leaders. He explained that he has already spoken with the leader of the opposition, Xavier-Luc Duval. He added that he will talk with everyone. For him, there is a team of thugs who govern the country. “They are mafia. Our country is no longer sovereign,” he said.

Pravind Jugnauth lied, says Navin Ramgoolam

During his speech at the press conference, Navin Ramgoolam returned to several aspects to recall that the Prime Minister has consistently stated that there is no interception of data. He referred to the answer of the head of government during a Private Notice Question on July 5. “He said, with emphasis on the word categorically, that there has never been even an attempt to intercept data. The facts prove him wrong,” said Navin Ramgoolam.

The Labour Party leader also criticize the Attorney General. “He does not know the law. He does not know the responsibilities associated with his office. And when you don’t know anything, it is better to keep your mouth shut,” he said.
