PM: Navin Ramgoolam Does Not Seem To Be Able To Fly

Despite the best efforts of the PMO and the Indian High Commission, Navin Ramgoolam was unable to board the Specially Advanced Cargo Flight fitted out for him and his companions. According to Dr Farhad Aumeer, his oxygen requirement was too high for such a flight as the severity of his affected lungs. Pravind Jugnauth estimates Navin Ramgoolam is not able to travel in his present condition.

The Prime Minister expressed his and his government’s support for his political rival. “We are giving him all the assistance and support he needs. He wished to receive further treatment in India.
