Must Read

Christian Eriksen had a cardiac arrest and “was not with us” before being quickly revived on the pitch, Danish team doctor Morten Boesen revealed this on Sunday. “He was gone,” Boesen said. “We started cardiac resuscitation and we managed to do it. How close were we to losing him? I do not know, but we got it after defibrillation so it’s pretty quick. As for the details, I am not a cardiologist. I will leave it to the experts at the hospital for the rest.

Danish player Christian Eriksen is still hospitalized in stable condition, the Danish Soccer Federation (DBU) announced on Sunday. The medical staffs still do not have an explanation for the incident which occurred in the 43rd minute of the meeting, explained at a press conference on Sunday the team doctor, Dr Morten Boesen, visibly still upset, Dr Boesen admitted that Eriksen was gone within seconds. He said on Sunday the player barely remembered anything about the incident but was in high spirits when he had a video call with the rest of the squad. Hjulmand says: “Christian was concerned about us and he doesn’t remember much of what happened, so he asked how the team was doing.

“Christian is a big man. He passionately believes he can play because he is happier  on the pitch. He has said what he wants to get back on the training ground. “
