The leader of the Labour Party delivers his New Year’s message to the population via the Facebook page “Ramgoolam Gen-Next” this Monday. According to him, “2024 will be a decisive year for the country” as the population will have the opportunity to choose a new government.”This is a decisive opportunity which Mauritians must not miss,” he added. Navin Ramgoolam also said that “the stakes are very high” and that “the country is in danger” as the MSM, which according to him, “threatens our freedom, our democracy and our way of life” will do “anything to stay in power”. On the economy, Dr Navin Ramgoolam spoke of the difficulties facing Mauritians. He added that Mauritians need a worthy Prime Minister.
