2021 is set to see another great astronomical event after the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn. Mars and Venus will be aligning themselves with the Moon. The celestial event will be visible this evening for viewers around the world. According to experts, this is the first of three conjunctions expected to occur. The two others are predicted to happen on February 12 and March 12 2022.
On the 12th and 13th of July, Mars and Venus will appear to be just 0.5 degrees from each other and the crescent of the moon will be within 4 degrees of both planets. The Bengaluru-based Indian Institute of Astrophysics said that the event will be visible with the naked eye. After Tuesday, both Venus and Mars will move from each other in their respective orbits.
