He gave his fans a scare. Contrary to a crazy rumour, the singer Lin is not dead. Although he is ill, he is already announcing a good ‘ti sega’ before the end of the year.
The messages on his Facebook page have not stopped pouring in since the announcement of his hospitalization. After a few days in hospital, Lin is back home.
The singer suffered from kidney failure and now has to go on dialysis thrice a week.
But how did he get there ? « I had been suffering from a cough for a fortnight. I thought it would pass so I did not worry about it. »
Except that in the early hours of Monday 21 June, his health deteriorated : « At around 2am, I couldn’t breathe. I was rushed to Jeetoo Hospital. The tests later showed that I was suffering from kidney failure and therefore, had urea. I was subsequently put on dialysis. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the medical staff and all those who supported me through this ordeal. »
Commenting on the rumour of his death, the artist said : « There will always be people to spread gossip. That’s why I was quick to reassure my fans once I felt better. »
To show that his illness does not affect his career in any way, Lin announces a ‘sega’ for the near future : « I am already preparing a sega for my fans. My illness will not affect my career. I might also have a song in the future because of my illness. «
