Kate Middleton Forced To Isolate Due To Patient Covid Contact

Must Read

Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge needs to isolate herself for ten days due to encountering a person who was later tested positive for Covid.

It has been said in a statement that, “Last week the Duchesse of Cambridge met a person who has subsequently tested positive for Covid-19. She however has not been experiencing any symptoms but is following all the government guidelines and self-isolating at home.”

Her Highness was due to spend the day with the Duke of Cambridge to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the NHS and had planned to attend a St Paul’s Cathedral service together with having tea at the Buckingham Palace with the NHS staff. She however would not be able to attend those activities due to her being in self-isolation.

The Duke of Cambridge has already received her two doses of the Covid vaccine and according to the PA news agency she has been conducting the household testing regime by taking lateral flow tests twice a week. It has been reported that she even took a lateral flow test before watching England’s Euro 2020 victory against Germany at Wimbledon.

Prince William and Prince of Wales also caught the virus during last spring. They however did not experience any complications and have been able to carry on with their daily activities while being treated by the royal doctors even though the Prince of Wales did lose his sense of taste and smell for a small amount of time.
