A report of loitering was made at the Abercrombie, St. Croix police station on Monday morning, April 3 by a resident of Priest Valley. She reported an incident in the early morning hours of Sunday, April 2 that occurred while she was sleeping in her bedroom next to her husband. She felt an object lifting her robe. She woke up suddenly and saw a stick next to her head coming from a window that was open.
It was around 00:045 on Sunday morning April 2 that this incident occurred. This 37 year old woman was sleeping in her room on the second floor next to her husband. Because it was hot, they had left a window behind their bed open. While she was sleeping she felt her robe lift in a strange way. She suddenly opened her eyes and there she saw a stick next to her head. He grabbed her and pushed her away.
She woke up and looked out the window, but she didn’t see anyone. She says she did not allow anyone except her husband and three children to have access to her house.
An investigation into the case has been launched at the Abercrombie Police Station.
