Inavouable: Secrets, Lies And Family

Written by Eric Assous, the play Inavouable will be performed at the Caudan Art Centre from May 16 to 20 at 8pm. Daniel Mourgues – the director lifts the veil on the play.

Born from the pen of Eric Assous, Inavouable arrives in Mauritius. The initiative belongs to Daniel Mourgues and his sidekick Philippe Houbert. “The play that was performed some time ago in Paris has seduced us by the finesse of its writing. So much so that we decided Philippe and I to introduce this light comedy to Mauritians,” explains Daniel.

Commenting on the storyline, Daniel said: “The play revolves around secrets and lies within a family. There are a lot of funny situations that are also full of messages. To find out what happens next, I invite the public to come and see the play from May 16 to 20 at the Caudan Art Centre at 8 pm. Tickets are available at Rs 700 and Rs 900.

As for the cast, we find Philippe Houbert, Julie Tyack, Christophe St Lambert and Stéphanie Mardi: “Stéphanie has had a career at the MBC and does a little bit of theater as well and it is a real pleasure for us to share the stage with her and the other actors.”
