The big favorite for Sunday’s main race will be the 2022 Maiden Cup winner Twist Of Fate. He finished 4L behind The Gatekeeper in his comeback race. He needed this race and he is in better form. He will finish strongly in the final straight and he will be hard to beat.
Alshibaa showed signs of progress with his two leg runs. The double winner of the Maiden Cup (2400m – G1) in 2020 and 2021 is gradually being found. He didn’t disgrace on race meeting 17 when he took 4th place 3.05L behind the winner. The trip will better suit him, and he has shown big progress in training. He may be back in the winner’s enclosure.
Lunafacation will rely on his light weight and the fact that he will be able to lead the race freely. He will have to show more against the two classy horses which are in better shape this time.
