Handball: GO SPORT LEAGUE 2021 – Residence Vallijee Offers The Champion In Title

The first day of the national handball championship which kicked off last Saturday, October 23, at the Phoenix gymnasium was marked by the victory of Residence Vallijee SC (RVSC) over the defending champion, AS Vacoas-Phoenix (ASVP) with a score of 33-30.

Three other games were scheduled in the men’s draw. Union Sportive Beau-Bassin Rose-Hill (USBBRH) beat Plaisance SC (PSC) 37-27. Blackshield defeated Residence Geoffroy 29-8. For its part, Curepipe Rangers beat Union Sportive de Trou-aux-Biches (USTAB) 29-19.

In the women’s table, two matches were scheduled. The defending champions, Union Sportive Beau-Bassin Rose-Hill (USBBRH) made the strongest impression with a large 58-4 victory over Union Sportive de Trou-aux-Biches (USTAB). The Curepipe Rangers took the measure of Quartier Militaire Rising Stars HBC (QMRSHBC) 45-15.

This first day continues next Wednesday, October 27, with the game Moka Rangers SC (MRSC) vs Curepipe Starlight SC (CSSC) at 8pm at the Phoenix gym.
