Gro Derek And Wesley Casimir Found Guilty Of Drug Trafficking

Rudolf Derek Jean Jacques, known as Gro Derek, and Bruno Wesley Casimir, were found guilty on Tuesday 29 November 2022 by the Assize Court. They were accused of drug trafficking. They are considered to be the leaders of a drug network. They had, according to the prosecution, organised the importation of drugs into Mauritius between October 2011 and June 2012 at a parking area in Flacq and Batterie-Cassée. Judge Luchmyparsad Aujayeb delivered the judgment.
