Bidders have until 2:15 pm on 16 August 2023 to submit their bids. The successful bidder will be required to supply STC with edible oil for the period from 1 September to 15 October 2023.
As a reminder, the STC markets the Smatch brand of oil. It is sold at a subsidised price of Rs 75 per litre. For a long time, Smatch oil was the brand sold at a better price, but other brands are now available at less than Rs 75 a litre.
Moreover, the State Trading Corporation has also launched a call for tenders for the analysis of fuels. Through this invitation to tender, STC wishes to retain the services of a Cargo Surveyor. The surveyor’s task will be to check petroleum products imported by the organisation.
The contract will run from 1 November 2023 to 31 October 2024.
Interested bidders have until 10 a.m. on 24 August 2023 to submit their bids.
It should be noted that each shipment of petroleum products undergoes checks on arrival.
The State Trading Corporation has also launched a tender for the import of Basmati 1121 rice for the period 1 October to 31 December 2023.
Bidders have until 1:30 pm on 15 August 2023 to submit their proposals.
