Lin promised his fans. And he has done it. In September, he will release Dilo Disik, a duet with Désiré François. The single will soon be on sale on the web. A video clip will follow.
His minor health problems do not prevent him from continuing to make music. Lin is back even stronger and offers his fans a monumental duet with a certain Désiré François.
For the singer, it was a dream come true: “Like many Mauritians, I myself am a big fan of Désiré. And I always told him that one day I would write a song for him. During the last lockdown, I wrote Dilo disik. I sent him the demo and asked him to perform it as a duet with me. He accepted and I am delighted.
The single itself is a tribute to the homeless: “It’s a song about the homeless. It’s a song about the homeless. It’s about the difficulties they face on a daily basis, especially during the lockdown when they only had inpe dilo disik to ease their hunger. That’s where the title of the song comes from.
The single was recorded in Michel Nany’s studio. It is currently being mixed by Richard Hein. The song will be available in September.
