Dalida Allagapen was involved in the emergency purchase of the drug. She has retired. The same is true for the head of the Pharmacy Board, Bijendrasingh Naeck. The latter, it should be remembered, has been suspended from his duties. Both are currently being questioned under warning.

Yesterday, Monday, December 20, investigators heard from employees of a shipping brokerage company who were responsible for clearing packages containing the tablets destined for CPN Distributors Ltd. Invoices to Jay Kumar (Akash) Chuttoo’s company for customs clearance fees for three shipments of Molnupiravir were seized by the anti-corruption commission.
