The country has recorded 72 more cases on Thursday 17th March. The Ministry of Health has reported that 63 people have been admitted to regional hospitals and 1 serious case to the New ENT Hospital. The treatment center has reported 2 deaths today.
A 46-year-old woman did not survive her Covid 19 contamination. She was unvaccinated and had severe forms of comorbidity. The second death involved a 68-year-old man who included two doses of AstraZeneca. But he also had several forms of severe comorbidities. They were both admitted to the Vacoas treatment center where no discharges were recorded. However, 25 discharges were reported from regional hospitals. The immunization progress of the day is 1,002,578 people for the first dose, 966,778 for the second and 559,646 people for the booster dose.
