The Department of Health and Welfare laboratories performed 1,144 PCR tests Monday, June 28, 2021. The results were obtained late in the evening.
- 1 case was detected. The case was a Department of Health and Welfare staff member who tested positive during quarantine after completing his service at a COVID-19 treatment center.
- 1,216 people have contracted COVID-19 since March 5 and as of yesterday afternoon, 944 of them, considered cured, were able to return home.
The country has 254 active cases of COVID-19 and as of this morning, only 16 of them were admitted to the New ENT Hospital due to pre-existing co-morbidities or mild symptoms requiring medical monitoring.
