His song ‘Chérie Coco’ is becoming a hit. From his artist’s name, Solda Nast, Jacob Bill is working on Versatile – an album that will be released next year.
Son of Ras Mayul, Solda Nast – 23, has been in the music business since 2017. After a stint with the group Heritage that he founded with his brother, he has recently gone solo.
This adventure, Solda Nast tries it since June 30, the date of the release of the single ‘Chérie Coco’, a cover in Creole of the title ‘Casanova’ signed WeRe-Vana: “When my beatmaker sent me the sound, I put a text on it before making listen to the song to Tyrap, my producer and Yann Degrace, my manager. They were thrilled and offered me to go ahead with it and we released the video at the same time.”
The young man did not expect such a success: “I’m very happy to know that the song is currently doing well. I didn’t expect it at all.”
Riding the wave of this success, the artist announces an album for next year: “Polyvalent will be released in 2022. As the title of the opus indicates, it will be an album that will bring together several styles of music from Afro Beat, to seggae and even a duet on a sega with a very famous artist.”
