On Saturday 7 August 2021, at 18.50 hours at Vacoas, a police constable Mohammad Ryan Nadeem Gunny 25 years old, posted in the western division supporting unit, residing at Belle Rose and Yohan Katoorah 22 years old, cabinet Maker residing at Belle Rose who were in a private car have been arrested. They had in their possession (1) a blistered pack of 50 Tramadol, (2) a blistered pack of Mogadon, (3) a blistered pack of Nava 150, (4) a sum of one thousand one hundred and seventyy five rupees, (5) paper parcel wrapping two hundred and thirty-eight cannabis seeds.
Before being intercepted, M R Gunny who was driving the car knocked against police car and damaged front bumper. Car 3822 SP 04 is secured for enquiry and a case of road accident has been reported at Vacoas Police Station.
