The iPhone 14 is coming soon! The new model may be out as early as September according to rumours and leaks. The new render that has been released shows the phone design could possibly be a cross between iPhone 12 and iPhone 4.
Apple hasn’t confirmed anything about the new iPhone models yet but it is expected that the brand will reveal some details by next month. Rumours say the iPhone 14 series will go official on September 13. But again, the official date is yet to be confirmed.
Performance
Some rumours suggest that the iPhone 14 will be powered by the A15 Bionic chipset, which runs the iPhone 13 series. Other reports suggest that the phone will come with Apple’s next generation A16 Bionic chip, which is said to be a slight upgrade over the previous gen chipset. So, the confusion still continues. But sure, it will be odd to have the new iPhone come with an old chip, which hasn’t happened previously, reported Indian media house India Today.
There’s no doubt that the upcoming iPhone model will run on iOS 16 out of the box, which Apple announced at WWDC 2020 event earlier this year.
Media outlet Indian Express reports that, a number of leaks suggest Apple will again debut four new iPhone models for 2022 as last year’s lineup, barring a 5.4-inch ‘mini’ model that will get replaced with a 6.7-inch ‘Max’ model. That means you can expect to see two new ‘Pro’ iPhone models—with display sizes of 6.7 inches and 6.1 inches—alongside the standard iPhone 14 (6.1) and iPhone 14 Max (6.7) models.
iPhone 14 will be priced at $899 and the iPhone 14 Max at $999. The iPhone 14 Pro base model will set you back by $1099, and the iPhone 14 Pro Max may have a starting price of $1199. These prices may differ as they do not include local taxes.
