Due to covid 19, the August Salon of the Cercle des Artistes Photographes (CAP) is being held on the Facebook page of the association. 21 image hunters from Mauritius and Reunion Island have been exhibiting since 20 August, a total of 420 photos on the general theme of ‘C’est vous qui vois’.
For the second year in a row, CAP is forced to hold its August show online. “With the Covid-19 health crisis, we did not want to put the public at risk. This is why we preferred, as last year, to hold the exhibition through our Facebook page,” explains Steeve Dubois, the president of the association.
Each participant submitted 20 photos on a sub-theme of their choice: “As the exhibition is held online and there is no lack of space, we asked members to submit 20 photos on a sub-theme of their choice and we are very satisfied with the result.
Three photographers from Reunion are also participating in the event: “We regularly invite members of the Reunion branch of CAP to exhibit with us. This year, three of them have sent us their work,” points out the president.
