Brazilian jockey Ivaldo Santana is establishing himself as a specialist over the 990m in Mauritius. He showed his ability to get his horse out of the gate the quicker again with Mac’N Scar. His horse had a very nice trip in front and he was full of running in the last 200m. Captain Garett tried to come back with a strong finish but he was the second best this time as Mac’N Scar held on to score his first win at the Champ-de-mars racecourse.
