Another flyer got caught close to the line. Kamadeva showed some good speed out of the gates. Jockey Swapneel Rama was able to relax his horse in front and he entered the final straight with a good margin over his opponents. Rama lost his whip 150m from home. He urged his mount, but it was not enough as Etched In Blue, with Dinesh Sooful on board, finished strongly to catch Kamadeva and win the race.
