Mauritius Telecom wins the 6th place in the ‘Top 100 Companies 2021’ edition with a revenue of Rs 10.41 billion. Being the only public/state company, MT is once again positioned at the head of the pack among the largest players in the national economy. When we talk of the main players in the Mauritian economy, we are talking about IBL, CIEL, ENL Ltd, Eclosia Group and Leal Group.
“It is above all the result of teamwork…”, stated Sherry Singh, the CEO of Mauritius Telecom, who is very satisfied with the company’s performance.
“We have been able to implement innovative services aimed at always improving the lives of our customers and offering them an unparalleled experience,” he continued.
Reaffirming MT’s unwavering commitment to its customers and the public, Sherry Singh highlights the support that Mauritius Telecom has to bring to the Mauritian family during the health crisis in 2020, for instance during the confinement, there was free access to all MY.T channels, the absence of penalties in case of late payment of invoices among others.
Not to be forgotten that MT had also brought its technological expertise to support the government with the development of the ‘BeSafeMoris’ application and the ‘Digital WAP’. “The company does not intend to stop here”, said the CEO. Compared to the previous year, the turnover of this sector is stable with Rs 15.44 billion and MT is at the top of the list ahead of 5 other operators.
