A 43-year-old bricklayer has filed a complaint against a young man from Vallée-Pitot. The latter does not stop courting his 15-year-old daughter. This one, who is in Grade 11, confided to her parents that this 19-year-old individual does not stop harassing her. Despite the teenager’s refusal, the young man keeps coming to her door in Plaine-Verte to ask for her hand in marriage. This Sunday, November 21, the young man, accompanied by his brother, came once again in front of the house of the teenager but when the parents refused him the access inside, this man and his brother began to profane insults.
It was shortly before 10:00 pm on Sunday evening, November 21, that the teenager’s father went to the police station in Plaine-Verte to file a complaint for vagrancy. He explained that on several occasions, he had to chase away this young man from Vallée-Pitot who came to his door to bother his daughter. He wanted to declare his love to his daughter but it was not reciprocated. The young man, he says, insulted him.
In his deposition, the mason stated that he felt humiliated when the man and his brother insulted him after he refused to enter his house. He cited his wife as a witness before adding that Safe City’s surveillance cameras can be viewed for this purpose.
An investigation was initiated in this case at the level of the police station of Plaine Verte.
