At 75 years old Cyril Ramdoo is still going strong. On August 27, he will be back on stage at the Caudan Art Center for Fas à fars – a musical that chronologically retraces the artist’s career through 20 of his hits.
Batem letan margoz, Froder mariaz, Séga Lala, so many songs with which Cyril Ramdoo continues to make us smile. With 50 years of career under his belt, the man who made himself known in 1975 with his humorous sega is back. This time with a musical: “In all modesty, I believe that my songs have a certain richness. It is a folklore that should not be forgotten. That’s why we’ve put together this musical. 20 actors will be on stage to bring to life 20 of my hits to tell my story as a singer.”
A CD and the video of the show will be available afterwards: “The public that comes to the show will be able to buy the CD that will gather the 20 songs of the event. The musical will later be available in video format for those who could not make the trip, but especially for those in the diaspora.”
