The Department of Health and Welfare laboratories performed 2,021 PCR tests on Thursday, July 08, 2021. The final results were obtained late in the evening.
- 14 cases were detected through ongoing Contact Tracing exercises.
- 4 cases were detected on Day 7 in the quarantine center.
- 1 case was detected at Dr. B. Cheong COVID-19 Testing Centre. This case is under investigation.
1,464 people have contracted COVID-19 since March 5 and as of yesterday afternoon, 1,100 of them are considered cured and have returned home.
To date, the country has 343 active cases of COVID-19.
