Black Friday Sales Disputed By Many

Must Read

They are many contesting the fact that Black Friday has been maintained on Friday 26th November. There are health professionals of course, but politicians are not being silent about it.

It is the logic behind keeping or keeping mum about this event which is questioned, as the new restrictive measures imposed by the PM forbid picnics on the beaches, impose the reduction of the crowds in the marriages, funerals and religious gatherings and require the presentation of the vaccine pass in the restaurants and food court! The increasing positivity rate, the arrival of the Delta variant and more recently, the C12 signal, and the death rates call for a different way of thinking.

The Ministry of Health is silent on the subject. But that is not the case for PTr’s secretary, Patrick Assirvaden. He is calling for Black Friday to be cancelled urgently while listing all the outcomes in keeping this event, which will attract large crowds. He has publicly called for the Minister of Health to intervene. Dr. Kailesh Jagutpal should also give the restrictive measures and impositions on businesses for this event, if it goes ahead…
