Jean Miguel Jolicœur, 20 years old, was arrested during the morning of Wednesday, March 30, after one hundred and fifty-one grams of heroin and forty-one doses of the same drug were discovered at his home. It was during a raid by police officers of the Anti-Drug and Smuggling Unit (Adsu) of the Western Division in Roma City, Riche-Terre that this seizure was made. Miguel Jolicoeur was arrested on a charge of drug trafficking. The market value of the drugs is estimated at Rs 2,275,250. On Thursday morning, March 31, he was brought before the court of Pamplemousses. He was then kept in a police cell.
Miguel Jolicœur was in the sights of Adsu for some time. This young man was suspected of being involved in drug trafficking.
