The measure takes effect from tomorrow, Friday. People aged 40 and above will be able to get Pfizer in ‘booster dose’. This was announced by Health Minister Kailesh Jagutpal at a press conference on Thursday. He explained that the booster dose will be given in alphabetical order from Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm in eight vaccination centres across the country. It should be recalled that only a little more than 15% of the population has received a booster dose. It should be noted that the regulations have been changed. As of 15 January, a person who has not received their booster dose, depending on when they received the second dose, is not considered fully vaccinated.
