“Apollo Noodles Meal Platter!” : Caterer Strike Behind This Constraint

Must Read

It was not intended for a promotional campaign of T&T International Foods. The Instant Noodle in a bowl was served on the meal trays of some passengers of flight MK015 on Tuesday 21 December from Paris Charles de Gaulle. As dessert, Kit Kat bars! If passengers are deeply disappointed, the airline is defending itself under the reason of the Caterer’s strike in Paris since 17 December.

While the national airline clarifies that passengers were informed before boarding that there would be no hot meal on board, none of them could have expected such ‘bowls’. According to the complainants, if there was no hot meal, at worst, it was going to be a take-away dinner or a sandwich, but at least, at a level that justified the price of the flight at 1100 euros.

With this strike, the airline reported that it was forced to serve instant noodles on the vegetarian menu which amounted to 7 and boxes of tuna rillettes, Mexican salad and rusks to the 183 other passengers and chocolate bars for dessert. This episode is likely to leave a bitter taste in the mouth of our national airline, which is rated as a World Class Airline.

Following this case of force majeure, MK has reassured that the menu and service will remain unchanged and that everything is back to normal as of Wednesday 22 December.
