Marie Therese Lourdes Duval, whose maiden name was Latreille, aged 78 years, met with a tragic end around 12hrs30 on the 30th July, at the ‘gare du nord’ in Port Louis. This inhabitant of La Tour Koenig, Pointe Aux Sables was hit by a bus and did not survive.
Her body was carried to the mortuary at the Dr A.G. Jeetoo Hospital in Port Louis soon after the accident for the autopsy. It appears that the victim was crossing over in this station when she was knocked down by a bus belonging to the ‘Triolet Bus Service Ltd’ (TBS). An enquiry has been issued in order to identify the exact circumstances of this tragedy.
