Prelude to an album currently in preparation, Lorgey is the single of the group Roots Blakarol. Coming from Grand-Baie, the formation says to make soul…music.
Far from the competition. Only sharing. It is in this spirit that was born Roots Blakarol led by Danilo Marie and Benoît Milazar.
On August 27, the group released its first single. Entitled Lorgey, the song is already very popular according to its composer: “It makes us very happy when people tell us their appreciation. Many tell us that the title makes their ears dance. It is for us as much encouragement to continue the adventure,” explains Danilo.
And the adventure is above all an album in gestation: “We already have 12 to 13 tracks that evoke everyday life with all the good and bad things it brings. We work seriously on it from our studio in Grand-Baie. If all goes well, it will be available next year.
Refusing to be confined to one musical style, the group wants to be a bridge: “Musically, Roots Blakarol can open many doors. The most important thing is the messages that we draw from the depths of our soul to transmit to the public. That’s why we like to say that we make soul music” adds Danilo.
