Roche-Bois Couple Arrested For Money Laundering

An investigation by the Anti-Drug and Smuggling Unit (Adsu), Alpha 4 of the Metropolitan Police into the seizure of five hundred and eighty-two grams of heroin with a street value of Rs 8,730,000 million on Friday, February 25, led to the arrest of a couple in an apartment in Riambel on Saturday, March 5. Thierry Theophile was placed in detention at the police station of Vacoas, while his wife was placed in a cell at the police station of Sodnac.

After an initial appearance before the Bail and Remand Court in Port-Louis on Sunday morning, the Théophile couple was brought before the court in Souillac on Monday morning, March 7. They are facing a provisional charge of money laundering.
