The measures will apply from tomorrow, November 12, at 6 am and will remain in force until December 13 at 6 am.
For example, schools will remain closed. Gatherings will be limited to 50 people. Day care centers will remain open to allow Mauritians to work. Sports complexes and gymnasiums will only admit people who have been vaccinated twice or who have obtained the third dose.
Health parks and public gardens will remain open.
Only vaccinated individuals will be allowed to participate in individual outdoor sports.
Bars and discos will remain closed, but restaurants will be allowed to operate with vaccinated staff.
Socio-cultural activities will be prohibited and places of worship will be limited to 10 people.
Horse races will continue to be held in camera with only 100 people allowed at the Champ de Mars.
The beaches will remain open.
