Scheduled for November 15, the reopening of the borders to Rodrigues was once again postponed. Already, we learned that there would be no flights to Rodrigues, today because the health protocol has not been finalized.
A decision on when and how will the reopening of the borders be done will be taken by the High-Level Committee in a meeting of Airport Holding Limited.
It should be noted that the website of Air Mauritius does not mention any flight to Rodrigues from Mauritius.
It was on October 1st that the borders were supposed to reopen in Rodrigues. But the island had not then reached a vaccination rate of 60%. The reopening had then been postponed to November 1st.
It seems the reopening of the borders to Rodrigues should be next week. But it would be a controlled resumption.
