The Mauritius Cycle Tour 2021 will take place on Sunday 21st November. This year, the race will be dedicated for children with cleft lips represented by the NGO Smile Train Association. The NGO works looks after children who are born with Cleft lip or palate. Through the race and with the help of you the riders, we are hoping to be able to send as many children as possible to do their operation so that they can smile again. The race will be divided into three categories as follows: 35 km, 65 km and the 100km. Taking into consideration the numerous issues we had over the past two years at the finish line in Mon Choisy; the race committee took the decision of moving the finish line to Labourdonnais. As the road from Forbach to Mon-Choisy has become very busy and considering all the problems we had with the traffic in these specific places; it has now become necessary to change the finish to avoid any more accidents.
With regards to the Start line of the 100km race, there are no changes. The race will start in front of Espace Maison at Bo Vallon Mall. As for the 35 km race, it will start in Belle Mare while the 65 km race will start at Bambous Virieux.
Specific details about the start and the course of the race will be communicated on our Facebook page and our website. There will be a small change concerning the course for the 100km race as we will now go and turn close to the Holiday Inn before making our way back on the old road towards the north.
