(DAY 3) The flagship match of the third day of the Go Sport Handball League 2021 between Résidence Vallijee SC and Curepipe Starlight SC ended in a draw 25-25.
Résidence Vallijee SC has definitely shown that it will play in the big league this season. After having offered the scalp of the champion in title, AS Vacoas-Phoenix, the formation of Residence Vallijee SC held against Curepipe Starlight SC.
The latter, recently crowned champion of the Cup of the Republic and who had upset the Union Sportive de Beau-Bassin Rose-Hill in the second day, did not find the right equation to take the three points of victory.
On the other hand, Moka Rangers SC lost 27-58 against Union Sportive de Beau-Bassin Rose-Hill.
In the women’s league, Curepipe Rangers recorded its third consecutive victory in the league. The Curepipians beat Plaisance SC 29-15.
The championship continues this Wednesday, November 10, with the game Union Sportive de Trou-aux-Biches versus Blackshield at 20:00 at the Phoenix gym.
