Seggae will be ringing out at the Culturas 360⁰ Festival. This virtual music concert will take place on March 26 and 27 and will see the participation of Mauritius. Indeed, the group Jerry & The Resistance has been held to be part of the adventure.
Jerry Rouget is over the moon. With his group, he is delighted to participate in this international festival: “It was Stephan Rezannah who sent my application without me even knowing it. Some time later he told me that me and my group had been selected for this festival. We are very happy and we take this opportunity to thank him once again. My thanks also go to my wife Hannah Khan Juhoor and the late Sylvio Racoude for their contribution to the advancement of our training.
The artist, also believes that this festival is a great opportunity to promote seggae internationally: “I have been doing seggae for 20 years. My ambition has always been to make this music known beyond the Mauritian borders. This is exactly what I have the opportunity to do through Culturas 360⁰.”
