The call for applications is on. The Ministry of Health is actively recruiting doctors to strengthen the Domiciliary Monitoring Unit and, more importantly, to replace the former team, who is coming to the end of their four-month contracts.
The tender is for private doctors on a 4-month contract basis. They must be registered at the Medical Council and must not be older than 70 years. The doctor will have to be vehicular, independent on travel and his travel expenses will be included in his package of Rs 80,000 per month. He/she will work on a shift system, or a day shift from 08:00 to 20:00, or a night shift, from 20:00 to 08:00. The service being on a 24/7 basis, depending on his/her ‘Shift’, he/she will be required to be on duty on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and officially declared cyclone or torrential rain days.

Interested candidates should submit their application together with their curriculum vitae, including copies of their academic and professional certificates, national identity card, proof of experience and proof of address.
