22 minutes live on Facebook on July 1st by midday that cost her, jail with no bail. Rubina Seetaramdoo has been arrested under a provisional charge of “Breach of Information and Communication Technologies Act” and judged by the Moka Court.
Her arrest is due to 7 strong complaints files at the Line Barracks this Friday july 02. The police have filed those complaints against her from NGOs, engaged citizens like Anishta Seesurrun, Ali Jookun , Jean Marie Malepa and even the Minister of Social Integration and Social Security, Fazila Jeewa Daureeawoo.
The detainee, known for trying to make buzz during first Lock Down, Rubina Seetaramdoo, alias Chachi, started that Live video to grumble about her financial situation as a self-employed in crisis period, but ended by insulting people with disabilities who receive a pension from the government, going to very high extents in her curses and reflections, even wishing for a law for their extermination,
She is currently in police remand. Her interrogation will resume back this Saturday and the police hope to end investigations by next week. This case will be handed over and followed by the office of the director of Public Prosecutions.
